TINC — This Is Not Chess

A strategy game on a hexagonal board. Capture the enemy King to win.

Pawn (P): Moves forward only (2 directions). Two pawns can stack on one hex for protection — stacked pawns move in all 6 directions and can only be captured if another piece is also threatening them. Stacking is the only way to retreat.
King (K): Moves 1 hex in any direction. The King does not capture — it converts! An enemy piece taken by the King switches sides and stays on the board (swapping places with the King). Protected by the Queen — can only be captured if another piece is also threatening it, as long as the Queen can see the King (any of her 12 movement lines, no pieces in between). Without Queen protection, any single piece can capture it.
Knight (N): Jumps to any hex exactly 2 spaces away, ignoring pieces in between.
Tower (T): Slides any distance along straight lines (6 directions). Blocked by other pieces.
Queen (Q): Slides along straight lines AND diagonal lines (12 directions). The most powerful piece — but also the King's protector! The Queen shields the King as long as she can see it along any of her lines with nothing blocking. Losing the Queen or breaking the line exposes the King.

Same-colored hexes are connected by diagonal lines (Queen's extra movement).
Pawns can only move/capture in their 2 forward directions.
Stacking two pawns = stronger defense (needs another threat to capture) + move and capture in all 6 directions.
The King converts enemy pieces instead of capturing them — the piece switches sides and swaps places with the King.
The Queen protects the King if she can see it along any of her 12 lines — use her aggressively and you risk your King!
Three-fold position repetition = draw.
